Building and Operating a University Clean Room, including Equipment Selection, Structure and Organization for the first new publicly funded science facility in the UMass System in 30 years and its role in research today. The Nanofabrication Laboratory, which received a $4.5 million dollar grant for equipment from Mass Life Science, is part of The Core Research Facility, an 84,000 square foot mixed science laboratory, funded by the University of Massachusetts Building Authority.
