| Dr. Kumar is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Draper, with more than 15 years inventing, engineering and developing solutions in Semiconductors, MEMS/BioMEMS, and RF. He collaborated with Universities and National Labs to develop prototypes and, with international groups on MEMS and nano technologies, to transfer know-how for low rate foundry production. He completed his Ph D. in applied physics in 1998, MS in solid state electronics 1992 and BS in Physics, Math and Chemistry in 1990 in India, working in several countries collaborating with various groups. He supervised the Maryland MEMS group at the University of Maryland then, as task lead and principal investigator, executed projects at Draper. Dr. Kumar has written proposals and interacted with startup companies in early stage technology development. He has more than 25 publications, 3 patents pending and 2 disclosures. He is a member of IMAPS, IEEE and MRS. |
